Romney Middle School is now located east of Romney off Rt. 50 E on top of the hill behind Hampshire High School.  It is no longer on School Street in Romney.

Driving Directions

From the west:   From the west take Rt. 50 east for approx. 2.5 miles beyond the stoplight in Romney.  After passing Hampshire Square Shopping Center and the South Branch Inn on the left, move into the right turn lane about halfway down the hill and turn into the Hampshire High School driveway (Trojan Way).  Stay to the right and take the first turn to the right (Calvert Drive) before you reach the high school building. Follow the road around to the top of the hill to the new Romney Middle School.

From the east: Take Rt. 50 west of Augusta about a mile past Shanks where the road become three lanes, and about halfway up the hill the center passing lane will turn into a left turn only lane for westbound traffic. Turn left there into the Hampshire High School driveway (Trojan Way) but stay to the right and take the first right before you reach the high school building (Calvert Drive). Follow the road around to the top of the hill to the new Romney Middle School.
