Another batch of messages asking people for their email ID info have been circulating. IGNORE all of these requests asking for K12 email passwords because they are ALL fraudulent. The WV email system will NEVER ask for this information. WVDE has assured us that they are not planning any system upgrades or overhauls so, no matter how authentic the message seems, someone is just trying to get your confidential information for malicious reasons. You may forward any such messages to abuse@access.k12.wv.us and then delete them permanently. If you think your information has been compromised, notify the Director of Technology immediately.
