Posted on: May 31, 2018[ARCHIVED] Important Graduation Information for Parents/Guardians
Parents and guardians of graduating seniors. This message is intended to share important information with you regarding tomorrow’s celebration.
Due to significant rainfall, parking will be limited as there will be no parking allowed in the front lawn area or on any of the athletic fields. As result, when the school parking fills up, overflow parking will be at he Wellness Center, Food Lion, Hospital and Romney Middle School. A shuttle school bus will running beginning at 5:30 PM taking people from these locations to the high school. This bus will run before and after graduation.
If graduation is held inside, entrance into the gymnasium will first be permitted to the PARENTS ONLY from 5:00-5:45. Parents wanting to guarantee a spot inside the gym must arrive in this time frame with ticket in hand. All other ticket holders will be permitted into the building after 5:45. Overflow seating from the gym will be in the cafeteria and auditorium. Graduation will be live streaming in both of these locations. Only those people with tickets will he permitted inside if graduation is indoors.
Finally graduation will also be shown via Facebook Live on the Hampshire High School Facebook page.
