Latest Message from HHS Principal Mike Dufrene (Friday, May 28)
Good afternoon Hampshire County School Community,
Due to the latest weather forecast we will postpone graduation this evening and go with our rain date that is set for Saturday, May 29th at 10 am. If anything changes in the morning I will do another call out by 8 am. If the weather does not allow us to have an outside ceremony, we will move graduation to inside the gymnasium.
Thank you,
Mike Dufrene principal of Hampshire High School.
Graduation will be on Live Stream at www.nfhsnetwork.com. Log in by creating a profile then search for Hampshire High School, Romney, West Virginia.

Good evening Hampshire County Schools,
This is Mike Dufrene, principal of Hampshire High School. I wanted to update our school community on our graduation plan for the Class of 2021. Our goal is to have graduation on Friday, May 28th at 6 pm on the field if weather permits. If we have to delay the start we will. I have people monitoring the weather radar nonstop. If it looks like we can not have graduation tomorrow evening, I will do another call out around 2 pm. If there is a chance to get graduation in as scheduled we will make it happen. If we have to postpone, we will go to our rain date of Saturday, May 29th at 10 am. We will only go to an inside graduation on Saturday if we must due to constant rain. Please remember, the outside graduation allows for 8 guests and inside only 2 guests. All guests must be on the senior guest list. We are so proud of the Class of 2021 and look forward to a special graduation.
Thank you, Mike Dufrene
