Tryouts/team selections will be held December 10th at Romney Middle School. Practices will start the week of December 18th. The first games will be held January 7th. Sign ups will continue through December 18th online or you can sign your child up December 10th in person at tryout/team selection. Teams will have one practice per week and games on Sunday's. Ages are in the Developmental League 1st and 2nd grade, the Biddy Buddy League 3rd and 4th grade the IBL league 5th thru 8th grade. Look under Upcoming Programs for more information. Registrations are now also being accepted online for the Hampshire Mat Club, a youth wrestling organization supported by Hampshire County Parks and Recreation for boys and girls ages four-through-fifteen. The HMC teaches folkstyle wrestling, which is the same format used in high school and college wrestling. Wrestlers will be classified by both age and weight for competition. There will be an in-person registration for the HMC on Monday, November 27, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Old Romney Middle School gymnasium.
